Dakota County and The Salvation Army have started an emergency hotel program for homeless single and partnered adults (not households with children) who are unable to access other emergency shelter due to health and safety concerns or lack of shelter space.
Qualifying individuals will receive hotel assistance and case management support from Salvation Army on an ongoing weekly basis while in the hotel program during cold weather months or until other shelter or housing is found.

HealthEast offers a variety of outpatient services out of the St. Joseph’s location in St. Paul and the St. John’s location in Maplewood.

Once a patient/client is referred they will have a brief assessment done over the telephone to determine if their needs are crisis (same day face to face response); urgent (face to face response within 24 hours); or routine (face to face response within 10 days). Ramsey County families who are sleeping in a place not meant for human habitation (streets, car, camping, public transit, etc.) or staying at a domestic violence shelter and are looking for supportive housing can call Coordinated Access to Housing and Shelter (CAHS) at 651-215-2262.
